Choosing the right field is key indeed to a brighter future and through Ekleraz, we aim at providing information to young people to facilitate their choice for higher education and foster skills development that makes the individual more employable

2. ABOUT YOUTH SCEAL
Founded in 2013, Youth S.C.E.A.L is a youth led organisation with the overarching aim to be a platform of
information and services fostering self-sustaining communities through capacity building of its inhabitants
(specially the youth) and promotion of education and entrepreneurship.
EKLERAZ PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project is segmented into 3 main components called GAP :-
G – Gid, for career guidance and advice pertaining to career choices/availability based on economic outlook
(and TEC recommendations) and existing facilities (mainly financial) supporting access to higher studies.
A – Anplwa, profiling of unemployed people (specially the unemployed youth) and link them to openings in
various companies or organization of job fairs (with prospective job that fit the set of skills identified during
the profiling of each unemployed individual) to facilitate access to employment.
P – Paspor, focusing here on employability of young Mauritians. Fundamentals of CV writing and grooming
for interviews. Beyond development of essential skills to be more employable, young people will be trained to
job hunt.

Overall objective
• Economic empowerment of Mauritian youth through education and employment.
Specific objective
• Be a platform of information supporting Mauritian youth to pursue higher studies
and getting employed.
• Boost employability of unemployed individuals living in vulnerable regions and
facilitate access to employment.

mismatch among graduates, the Ministry of Education and
Human Resources, Tertiary Education and Scientific Research
and the Human Resource Development Council (HRDC) with the

Graduate Training for Employment Scheme (GTES). Under this
