Code Blue: A 'panic button' App for Young People Experiencing Depression or Bullying

Published on

What if you could press one button on your phone, and someone you know and trust could immediately check up on you? They might text, call or show up in person; there's no need to explain why you need help. 'Code Blue' is just that; a 'panic button' for young people who are experiencing depression or bullying. It allows the user to select a mobile support crew, who will be alerted immediately that the person in need requires intervention. The app will also triage users to professional services near their location. 'Code Blue' helps young people to take the first step towards getting help, through the people they know and trust.
