Request to Participate in a Team Project:
Teamwork is the collaborative effort of a team to achieve a
common goal or to complete a task in the most effective and
efficient way. This concept is seen within the greater framework
of a team, which is a group of interdependent individuals who
work together towards a common goal.
You are the director of a large department in a multinational
corporation. You were tasked with a project that requires the
participation of a team of individuals from various areas of the
corporation including finance, marketing, sales, and accounting.
Write a detailed e-mail
to your team informing them of their selection as members of a
team to participate in the creation of
new strategy to introduce a new product line to the U.S. market
. In your e-mail,
be sure to include personal traits and skills you identified as
important to the success of this team.
Provide encouragement
and invite members to reach out to you if they need
clarification.
