and makes you realise

27 seconds which is very
unconventional of a film.

2. This ship is significantly
bigger than all of the rest
which highlights the
importance of it.
Being in space and there being
spaceships confirms to the
audience that this film is a Sci-Fi
which is presumably what they
came for.
These
smaller
ships are
almost as if
they are
under
control of
the big ship.

3. There are loud sirens throughout
the entire ship which signals either
danger or importance.
The sounds of spaceships are continuous during this 3
minute clip and lets the audience know that the film is
definitely a sci-fi if they would happen to have any
doubts about the genre type whilst watching it.

4. In uniform and lined up to show
their respect for the person
who will be revealed from the
landing ship.
They are all very serious, this
shows that the person coming
must be important and could
potentially punish them if they
weren’t on their best behaviour.

5. Tilt shot and
smoke as the space
ship opens to
make a big
entrance of a
main, known and
important figure.
Once this mask has been revealed, the fans
in the audience know that things are about
to happen as they know the personality and
actions of this character.
