The belief is that human behaviour can be trained because human emotions are so malleable therefore personality is forever changeable (Cohen, 1979).
Behaviour is simply a reaction to a stimulus which once learned becomes part of learned habit. It was also believed learning occurs through the
reinforcement of certain aspects of the situation. Reinforcement is when something is added to the situation which makes the same reaction in that
situation more likely in future (McInerney, 1998). The belief was that most of behaviour is a result of what has been learnt, which is to say that it is the
result of the environment rather than biological influences. Therefore the study of learning and the conditions under which it occurs is the core project
of behaviourism (Tennant, 1997) Behaviouristic therapy is aimed at the modification of behaviour especially undesirable ones by mainly reinforcing
the desirable behaviour and suppressing or punishing the undesirable and unwanted behaviour. Once the therapist has identified the behaviour and
triggering factors they may employ several techniques to condition or recondition the person's behaviour. These methods of therapy have been derived

Understanding human behavior is detrimental in psychology. Knowing and understanding the "whys" of others actions and even how to change a
person behavior has been very insightful. If you're a parent you can understand that children don't always act the way we wish them to. It was not
until a couple of years back that I began to learn a bit about the human brain. When my son was diagnosed with ADHD I didn't know anything about
it, and what I thought I knew was completely wrong! I thought children with ADHD were smart and bad all at once. What I came to find out was that
most children with ADHD usually have behavior problems and struggle in school much more then people actually know; all in all it's a learning

who deem this to be an issue with God. While that premise has some merit, the

The cause of human behavior is subject to a debate dating back to the Greeks; which elements are nature or nurture. Some thought that humans were a
tabula rasa, whatever environment they were put in would completely control the outcome of their personality, other thought that genes programed

to see how the gene interacts with environmental factors. For this study, Reif et al (2007) had a sample of 184 male adults who were split into groups
of violent and nonviolent. The researchers for this study predetermined that if there were large amounts of negative environmental factors during
childhood it would associate violent behaviors to arise (Reif et al, 2007). In their findings, approximately 45% of the violence group and 30% of the
nonviolent group had low levels of serotonin their system; however, the interaction between the childhood environment and the serotonin showed there

I believe that it is also important to support an organization culture including some key values including the following: integrity, great customer service,

Malcolm Gladwell argues, in the chapter "The Power of Context, Bernie Goetz and the Rise and Fall of New York City Crime", that "the features of

child", Genie. Genie was not given any love or affection as a toddler, was strapped in a chair, and was forced into silence by her father. Genie could
not walk properly, was incontinent, and could only speak a few words. Genie did not experience emotional support and typical childhood activities
nearly all children in the United States experience. Perhaps if Genie would have received love and support and was able to play like a normal child
when she was a toddler, she could have thrived. A personal example would be my passion for being outdoors. When I was younger, my parents would
always tell my step–brother, step–sister and I to go play outside. We were always outside jumping on the trampoline, riding bikes, or just running
