3. Hello girls and boys ... Today we will learn about the months of the year:
Did you know ... How many days each month of the year? Note:
November has thirty days, the same as April, June and September. The other
months have thirty-one, except February that has only twenty-eight days.
Did you know ... Every month has special days: January is the first day of the
year, in February is Valentine's Day and March we celebrate the Woman's Day.
April has several special days: Earth’s Day, the Day of the Language, Tree’s Day
and Children's Day. In May we celebrate the Mother’s Day, Teacher’s day and Day
of the Afro-Colombian; June is the Day of the Environment and Dad’s Day. In
July we celebrate the Independence’s Day, August is the Day of the Battle of
Boyacá; in September is the Day of Love and Friendship and International
Coffee’s Day. October marks the Day of the Race, Saving’s day and the
Halloween’s Day. November is the day of Police, Firefighter and Musician. And
finally, we celebrate Christmas’ Day in December.
