Manuscript submission guidelines for an online journal
1. GUIDELINES
All of the family of NATIONAL FORUM JOURNALS requires that writers who submit manuscripts follow
the latest technical specifications set forth in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological
Association (most current edition) and in MS-Word format.

MANUSCRIPTS
Manuscripts must be submitted in triplicate, typed double-spaced in a fixed-pitch font (ex: Times New
Roman) and typically be 8 - 20 pages, along with a rewriteable CD. The writer’s name, title, affiliation,
telephone, complete address, and the date of submission should be on a separate cover page, and only
on this page to ensure anonymity in the national reviewing process. The author(s) should include on
separate pages an abstract of 75 words or less and on another separate page a brief biographical sketch
of 50 words or less. The author(s) is/are to submit manuscripts following the technical specifications set
forth in the most current edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.
Rejected manuscripts are not returned.
The author(s) must provide documentation their manuscript has been submitted through a plagiarism
software program to verify the manuscript has not been plagiarized. It is imperative the scholarly,
intellectual, creative, and ethical integrity of NATIONAL FORUM JOURNALS be ensured. The author(s)
shall sign a Manuscript Release and Publication Form prior to publication of their article.
The NFJ editorial staff reserves the right to adapt manuscripts for brevity, clarity, and consistency. All
manuscripts shall undergo a double blind peer-review process and must be recommended for national
publication and dissemination by three members of the National Board of Invited Distinguished Jurors
representing NATIONAL FORUM JOURNALS. In addition, any manuscript published shall receive five
affirmative votes for dissemination nationally and globally from members of the National Policy Board
representing NFJ.
