As humanity is already aware, global warming is a life–threatening issue to each and every perishable being on Earth. The climate is changing. The
earth is increasing in temperature, and now, there is overwhelming scientific affirmation stating that it is occurring, and human induced. Global
warming occurs when carbon dioxide (CO2), as well as other air pollutants, come together within the atmosphere and absorb sunlight and solar radiation

fair temperature target. Instead of instituting temperature targets, supporters of the later theory have suggested adapting society to the changes in
climate, or even moving inland to avoid rising sea levels.
Due to the various theories that have been proposed, not all countries have agreed on controlling the environment in the same way. The United States,
for example, has refused the proposals at the Kyoto conferences and is currently being pressured to join other industrial nations that have curbed the

comprehensive understanding of global warming.
Regardless of the plan that is put into effect for reversing the negative effects of global warming, if any exist at all, it is imperative that a definition of
dangerous be drafted. Many scientists say that the process of preventing global warming from reaching dangerous levels has already taken too long,

I.Attention Getting Device: On November 21, 2017 NASA published an article on the issue of global climate change which quoted this, ''NASA tool
link port–city seal levels to regional ice melts''. NASA has been working to minimize the effect of global climate change and recently it has developed
'NASA tools'. This particular tool links changes in sea level of around 293 global port cities. Most specifically, the tool links changes seen in
vulnerable regions, such as Greenland and the Antarctic Peninsula, where ice lands are melting rapidly. Such development will allow coastal planners
to be aware and prepare for rising seas level for years to come.
II.Credibility Position (Why you picked this topic): After I read this particular article, it made me realize that the global warming was taking pace at a
rapid speed than I had imagined. Its impact was certainly happening quickly than I expected. Then, I did some research to find out its problems and
also I looked at solutions to minimize the impact of global warming.
III.Thesis Statement (Central Idea): Today I would like to share my thoughts on one of the most heated topic of 21st century which is global warming,

In the two articles, the authors approach the issue of global warming, but do this from two different perspectives Clark and Lee (2004) for instance
discuss the issue of global warming at the level of the dangers it poses for the modern day society, whereas Jankowska (2006) takes a different
approach and discusses global warming in terms of social trends.
The approach implemented by Clark and Lee is more somber and severe, pointing out the threats of global warming. They address issues mostly pegged
to the negative impact of carbon pollution in the environment, with the negative impacts upon the quality of air, the life of animals as well as that of
humans. Still, in spite of these real risks, Clark and Lee argue that there are other numerous threats which had been exaggerated by the media, and
which are nonetheless managed by the governments. At this level, they provide examples such as acid rain, famine, changes in global temperature, the
