WELCOME TO MAINE!
On behalf of the Red Bull Frozen Rush team, we would like to warmly welcome you to Sunday River, Maine. We are excited to
host the only Pro 4 truck race on snow for the second year in a row, and we thank you for being able to join us!
Last year 10,000 spectators experienced the throaty roar of 900-horsepower off-road trucks on the snowy mountain of Sunday
River Ski Resort. These machines will be put to the test again this year as the trucks race head-to-head over jumps, around
gates and down ski slopes. Red Bull Frozen Rush created a new chapter in the history book of off-road racing in 2014, and this
winter, it will push the progression of the sport event further.

EVENT FACTS
• The idea of taking off-road racing on snow was championed by legendary motorsport athlete Ricky Johnson and debuted
in early 2013
• The course is 1.5 mile long and goes both uphill and downhill with a variety of jumps and turns
• Custom spiked 35” tall All-Terrain tires from BFGoodrich’s Research and Development team were specially designed
for this race
• Race format will be head-to-head, bracketed with two drivers on course at a time
• Race is single elimination with 2, 4, and finally 6 laps per race as it progresses through each round
• The United States Auto Club, one of auto racing’s leading governing bodies and an international motorsports authority, has
sanctioned the race
• Spectators can watch the event slopeside, and there will be jumbo screens for better viewing at the South Ridge base area.
• Ski/snowboard lanes at South Ridge will be open during the event
