Neptune successfully completed EverSea's first offshore Oil
& Gas Project
Tuesday 1/09/2015, jack-up platform Neptune
finalised its first Oil & Gas Project. The project,
contracted by GDF SUEZ EP Nederland,
comprised the transportation and installation of
a compression module and a new pedestal
crane on two different offshore gas platforms
located in the Dutch sector of the North Sea.
The compression module and crane elements
were delivered by the client at the port of
Antwerp where they were loaded by the
Neptune crane onto the vessel deck. Upon
completion of mobilisation, Neptune set sail
towards the E17a-A platform, a trip of more
than 400km. On the E17a-A platform the 330T compression module was lifted onto the platform deck and
skidded over a distance of 18m into is final position under the platform helideck.
Once the compression module was positioned to the satisfaction of the client, the Neptune set sail towards
L10-E platform and started installation of the new platform crane.
Neptune is now waiting for a suitable weather window to return to Ostend port were it is expected to arrive on
