2. CEdMA Spring Conference 2015
In today's high-tech companies, the frequency of new product and software
releases places constant pressure on the Education team to keep pace with
producing relevant, timely, and quality training content. And increasingly, the
audience wants to hear from experts. An Education team responsible for
training often depends heavily on Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for content
expertise for both training development and delivery, but such SMEs are scantly
available.
Through a case study approach, participants in this session learn the "why,
what, and how" to capture content from live training events to re-use, re-
purpose, and re-package as learning content modules. You'll also learn the
overall content production process, apply instructional design guidelines, and
get practical tips to avoid common pitfalls, and assess methods of content
capture.
