Education Beyond the Table
Early learning Centre preschool is the child's formal learning journey, with specialist teaching staff
qualified and experienced in Early Years, proven to teach methodologies designed to develop
confident learners and a curriculum aimed at academic, social, and emotional success.
At early learning center preschool, each child's progress is observed and their strengths and passions
uncovered to discover how these can be further stimulated and developed, with teaching plans
tailored to the individual child along with providing a stimulating environment for the child to
flourish.
The early learning center preschool daily application is inspired by the philosophy of Reggio Emilia.
Which is divided into five areas highlighted below-
1. Image of the child: Children have a healthy curiosity to know how and why things work so
they will find ways to get their answers. They also learn from interacting with each other
which is why they work better in small groups just like how a community works and learns
together and should be considered active learning collaborators. Children are the agents of
their learning, demonstrating a strong ability to make their own decisions and advocate
positive contributions to their community.
2. Environment as the third teacher: As a living and welcoming space where everyone forms a
relationship with one another, the learning environment should allow easy collaboration,
exploration, and communication among children.
3. Teacher as a researcher: Teachers observe from the children how and why they think, and
what interests them. They then guide the children with questions designed to make them
learn and discover new things.
4. The 100 languages of children: Children think and express their thoughts, creativity, and
understanding in 100 different languages and ways. Examples of expressions can be
painting, dancing, or even questioning.
5. Relationships: Through relationships, children learn from their friends, teachers,
environment, and the parent community. Parents are the original teachers and the
educators who play a supporting role in each child’s learning journey.
