Cities to Visit in Britain
Britain is fast becoming bigger and bigger on the
map in terms of culture and technology.
Our little island is really making a name for itself
around the world.
One of the reasons Britain is such a great place to
live is because of the historic cities which are
bursting with a whole new generation today.
In this presentation, I’m going to be taking a look at
some of the best cities to live and visit in the UK.
It was pretty much a given that the capital was going
to be on this list.
But why do we love London so much?
• The architecture?
• The entertainment?
• The business?

• The Royal Family?
London is no longer ‘the place to be’ in the UK
anymore, but it’s still the hub of most new
technology, gossip and entertainment.
You’d benefit from living in London if you have any of
the following expertise;
• Singing
• Dancing
• Technology
• Media
• Fashion
Previously the capital of the UK, Winchester is
becoming a front runner in the fight for recognition.
There are universities, beautiful buildings and a quiet
but exciting feel to life in the city.
The following expertise could see you working in
Winchester;
• Restoration Builder (A lot of the houses are 100s of
years old there)
• Web Design (Winchester may be old but they’re
ahead of the game when it comes to the internet)
• Author (Winchester has produced some fine
authors in it’s time. Maybe it’s the quiet life!)
Hull

Recently named as the City of Culture for 2017,
there really is lots going on in Hull.
Hull really is a great place to be, especially around
Christmas time.
There are many festivals and fairs going on which
anyone is welcome to join.
If you driven across the Humber Bridge? Did you
know that it’s the longest suspension bridge in the
world that can be crossed by foot or cycle?
Manchester

Manchester is the place to be in the UK if you have
specific interests.
Manchester

There’s a wide range of things going on all the time
including;
• Sport
• Theatre

• Music
Manchester

Manchester is particularly lovely during the winter
when there is a fresh blanket of snow.
