Previously, I worked as a Graduate Trainee in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bangalore. My main
responsibility was assisting in 400 & 800 hours servicing of helicopter as per schedule, daily inspection of
helicopters, Particle check of ATF and Hydraulic fluid, LRU’s installation, Bonding Checks, Preparation
documents for clearing various stages of helicopter, Prepare documents and schedule for the maintenance of
the Helicopter.
By involving these activities I done a project in HAL. Project work involves study of various snags that are
provided by the customer crews for the different Helicopters that are received for T1SI and T2SI servicing for
the year 2013-2014.To achievethis,all the snags that aregiven by the customer crews arelisted and analyzed.
From the study on customer reported snags suggest a way to reduce the customer reported snags. It will very
well reduce the time between the signal out and Ferry out of the Helicopters. And finally it has overall
improved the quality of service provided by HAL in servicing the Helicopters. This project helps in maintaining
a better relation with customer.
Moreover, as a Graduate Trainee worked in Quality Assurance Department, I learned about the customer
relationship and moreover a good working experience in Public Sector.
The Aeronautical curriculum and course structure has equipped me with in depth knowledge of the various
concepts about Aviation industries.
