⮚ Esper is a platform for developers and to deploy applications seamlessly
⮚ Esper is the industries low priced Android Dedicated Device Management Platform
⮚ We are focused on developers by taking an API-centric, language-neutral approach.
⮚ Our tools enable developers to tackle the big challenges of device development such as identifying, debugging, and
resolving issues with their apps and devices in the field.
⮚ We help IT do more with less helping them to move from traditional device management approaches to DevOps oriented
Device Orchestration!
⮚ Esper streamlines the process for building, deploying, and managing apps on devices for POS, Restaurants, Kiosks,
Logistics, and Transportation at scale.
3. Problems managing dedicated Android devices
● No remote Diagnostics - Many dedicated devices have little or no remote management
capabilities. Often times devices have to be serviced or debugged by sending a technician to the
physical Kiosk location.
● Exit Kiosk Mode - Often times user can exit the application running in kiosk mode, leading to
unwanted usage of device
● Error popup - Often times you can see a error popup on various unattended dedicated devices
that needs user intervention
● Security Intrusions - Devices are either hacked over network or through physical intrusion such
as USB port leading to hardware and software failures
● App Device compatibility Issues - Often times due to poor quality of OS delivered by the
hardware vendors applications experience various crashes and failures
4. Organizational Structure of Esper !
• Esper typically follows vertical management structure.
• A vertical organization structure is one that relies on managers to command and control their employees’ work.
