I am most happy to write this reference for Mr. Vikas Sharma. He was admitted to our Master of
Public Administration program in July 2010 on a part-time basis. He successfully completed the
program in April-May 2014. His cumulative grade point average of 4.5 at the completion of his degree
requirements clearly validates Mr. Sharma as an exceptional student. He was clearly one of our top
students. This accomplishment was despite managing the pressures of a demanding career, and coping
with illness in his immediate family.
In my class on Environmental Economics, Mr. Sharma came across as a naturally intelligent person
who is also systematic and hardworking. He displayed clear analytic capabilities, and his presentations
– both written and oral – always demonstrated clarity of thought and diligent research.
