Fire water demand evaluation.
Fire water network hydraulics using pipenet software.
Preparation of Fire protection and Personnel protection Drawing.
Preparation of Fire and gas Detection drawing.
2. Evaluation of Fire Proofing Requirements etc.
Familiar with safety studies (Hazop, Hazid).
Performed QRA study by using software PHAST.
2. Worked as Chemical Engineer in Century Chemicals, Kalyan from March 2012 to Dec
2012. Century Chemicals is a part of the BK Birla group and is involved in the Production of
Caustic and Chlorine. As a chemical engineer I have to carry out the various shift related
activities in the plant.
3. Worked as a Shift In charge with Amogh Chemicals Private Limited, Badlapur from January
2012 to March 2012.
Amogh Chemicals is a specialty chemicals manufacturing company where as a shift in charge I
had to handle the production activities in the shift. I also had exposure to various equipments
such as Ejector, Dryer, reactor, scrubber and pumps.
PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN:
Manufacture of Sulfuric Acid by DCDA process
The project study included Process Selection, Heat Balance, Material Balance and Costing. It
also discusses the corrosion and metallurgy issued related to the sulfuric acid industry.
SEMINAR:
Industrial Furnace
The seminar included the details of the various heating sections of furnace, burner firing and
heat recovery systems. It also describes coking and cracking furnaces.
PRESENTATION:
Nuclear Energy
The presentation mainly covered the issues related to Nuclear Disposal and the use of
Nuclear energy for power generation and its use in the medical treatments.
