A short paragraph on Village life

1. VILLAGE LIFE
India is a land of villages. A majority of her population lives in villages.
Life in the village is very simple. Villagers wear simple dresses and eat
simple foods. Their living is simple. Most villagers are farmers. They
work very hard. The importance of farmers is very great. If they don’t
work, we will not be able to get food. A man in the village gets up early
in the morning with welcoming songs of birds. The farmer works whole
day in the field in hot sun. In the evening, chidren and younger people
play in the fields. Then at the end of the day they sit and talk and tell
their stories to each other and after a frugal diet, retire early to bed and
to a peaceful slumber. All through the day one feels the fresh breeze
and the fragrant flowers and the sweet tunes that hover in the air.
Houses in villages are generally small and built of mud. Their roofs are
made of straw. Indian villages are now becoming economically
stronger.
