1. Victoria Falk's Biography
Victoria Falk, Vice President of the African-American International Chamber of
Commerce and CEO of Passionate Travel Inc., holds many distinctions. She is a global
business leader, entrepreneur, Certified Travel Specialist, motivational speaker, trainer,
and radio host. However, Victoria's initial introduction to business came on December 9,
2008, when she started Passionate Travel Inc., on the anniversary of her brother's death.
At that time, she was employed as a Social Services Supervisor, with a commitment to
helping children and families. But Victoria became very depressed after her brother's
death and was looking for a way to pull herself together. Instead of dwelling on her
sadness, Victoria decided to focus on how her brother lived - with enthusiasm and
passion. When Victoria would find herself getting sad, she imagined what her brother
might say; "Life is short. Live passionately. Make time to laugh, love, and enjoy the
finer things." Those words later became the slogan and mission for Passionate Travel
Inc. Victoria started putting together group trips during her spare time. She wanted to
create fun, memorable experiences, that would make people happy.
Victoria enjoyed seeing people smile and hearing about their vacation
experiences; that was a huge shift from the daily routine of the sad stories she heard
while employed in the Social Services field. But Victoria wanted Passionate Travel Inc. to
be about more than having fun and making money. She wanted to create a business that
helped people in meaningful ways. Victoria developed a Travel Agent Training Program
and started teaching others how to start and grow profitable travel businesses. She started
teaching churches and nonprofit organizations how to use travel to raise funds.
Victoria stresses the importance of building strategic alliances. In addition to the
African-American International Chamber of Commerce, she is proud to be affiliated with
the following organizations: Global Business Roundtable, New York Women's Chamber
of Commerce, The New American Chamber of Commerce, WomenInBusiness.org, New
Connections, and "MatchMySpirit" Holistic Events. Victoria volunteers for Women In
The Black and is an Advisory Board member for Women and Nature International. She
is a Digital Facilitator for Dr. George Fraser's Power Networking Conference 2016/2017.
2. She is also proud to be a Community Partner for both Medgar Evers College and
Healthfirst. Victoria Falk hopes her journey from struggle to triumph will motivate other
people to remain committed to achieving their goals, despite whatever challenges or
obstacles they may face in life.
