6. LUCY HITCHCOCK -
BIOGRAPHY
Lucy Hitchcock is an entrepreneur, and Founder of
Sassy Digital and Partner in Wine.
After leaving her job at 23 years old to work with small
businesses on their digital marketing, branding and website
and e-commerce design, she’s helped hundreds of small
businesses make more sales online.
Lucy works with fashion businesses with their website
design and marketing as well as people such as Sarah
Ashcroft founder of SLA The Label, Author Madeleine
Shaw, Danielle Peazer founder of DPM and fashion
influencer Ruby Holley to name a few.
During the global pandemic, after a disappointingly warm
glass of wine in the park with her best friend, Lucy decided
to create an insulated wine bottle and tumbler to help her
and so many other wine lovers enjoy a socially distanced
drink in the park. Since starting the business, and using her
marketing expertise to grow a large social media following
and most importantly sales, in just 16 months Partner in
Wine has quickly become Sassy Digital’s best case study.
In 2020, after five months of launching, Partner in Wine
had turned over £30,000. By the end of 2021, this number
was over 8 times that. In 2022, the business is expected to
generate over £1m in revenue.
Lucy has been profiled by the BBC News, Mail Online,
Business Insider, The Sun, Daily Express, and was featured
in TikTok’s Year on TikTok 2021 list. She has since worked
with a number of brands including SAGE for business,
Royal Mail for Business, Aldi, and Adobe.

7. ANNA NIXON - BIOGRAPHY
Anna Nixon is an award-winning roboticist, an
accomplished conference speaker, a teacher and
a young leader representing the post-millenial
generation.
When Anna was in second grade, her father brought home a
small robotics kit. They spent hours together on the garage
floor, building and programming robots to complete simple
challenges like following lines or escaping mazes. Anna loved
that feeling of accomplishment that came with finally getting
a robot working after hours of hard work, so she joined FIRST
Robotics, and she’s been participating in it ever since.
In Elementary school, her participation in robotics taught
her about the engineering process, working as a team and
presenting her ideas effectively. When she went to middle
school she decided to take the initiative to start her own
robotics team. That process taught her about leadership and
management. At high school, she eventually became the
software lead and vice president of her high school robotics
team where she has expanded her knowledge to include
mechanical and electrical skills as well as furthered her
understanding of programming.
Being a young leader (born in 2000), Anna represents a new
generation that is coming to the workforce, she speaks about
the importance of technical education for young kids, future
technology trends, girls in STEM fields, generational changes
caused by technology and education and much more.
Anna launched 2018 with an inspiring TedX talk on inspiring
students with the right type of education: “The value of
schooling lies in the critical thinking skills that allow us to solve
a variety of problems. By showing students the real world
applications of what they’re learning, they’re more likely to stay
engaged.”
