INTRODUCTION The cell cycle is a process necessary for the humans cells, which is controlled in some phases by specific proteins. When the proteins in check points doesn’t stop the process of division when the cell isn’t ready, is possible that the cellular growth can get out of control and mutate. The latest researches is looking for alterations, diseases and cancer with origin in the wrong cell division.
NEW ROLE FOR THE JNK PROTEIN: LONG KNOWN TO HELP CELLS RESPOND TO STRESS, JNK ALSO CONTROLS CELL CYCLE Science Daily July 16, 2010

NEW ROLE FOR THE JNK PROTEIN: LONG KNOWN TO HELP CELLS RESPOND TO STRESS, JNK ALSO CONTROLS CELL CYCLE The role of JNK was the most unexpected result: JNK protein regulates to the protein complex APC/C , which is active during mitosis and it allows that the sister chromatids can separate through the destruction of cohesins. The Cdh1 phosphorylation activates APC/C.

HISTONE H1 REGULATES GENE ACTIVITY THROUGHOUT THE CELL CYCLE Science Daily July 6, 2010
HISTONE H1 REGULATES GENE ACTIVITY THROUGHOUT THE CELL CYCLE The DNA contained in all the human’s cells is very long, and sometimes is necessary that DNA winds around specialized proteins named histones. The histones(H1, H2A, H2B, H3 and H4) provides different levels of DNA, and one of them is the nucleosome (without H1) and chromatosome ( with H1)
The new study found that when the H1 histone is phosphorylated, the RNA polymerase I and II is more active, making more easy the transcription of some parts the genome. HISTONE H1 REGULATES GENE ACTIVITY THROUGHOUT THE CELL CYCLE
Using fluorescence microscopy, they discovered that H1 phosphorylated was inside the nucleolus, the place where are transcripted the ribosomal RNA. At final, the estudy found that H1 phosphorylated has functions in mitosis and interphase, and a interesting role in hormonal treatments , through the association with the regulatory regions of hormone responsive genes. HISTONE H1 REGULATES GENE ACTIVITY THROUGHOUT THE CELL CYCLE

NEW ROLE FOR THE JNK PROTEIN: LONG KNOWN TO HELP CELLS RESPOND TO STRESS, JNK ALSO CONTROLS CELL CYCLE It can bring new ideas and causes about the behavior of metastatic process, mutations and diseases, and also, it can be one more reason for create and think about a effective treatments, which can prevent and cure one of the most common problems of the actuality
HISTONE H1 REGULATES GENE ACTIVITY THROUGHOUT THE CELL CYCLE The latest advances of the functions of the H1 allows us investigate and discover what kind of diseases and alterations of the cell cycle are relacionated with de H1 phosphorylated’s function.
This information can be useful for produce metods and treatments that stimulates the H1 action and create responses more faster from the cell and so, make more easy the expression of the specific parts of the genome.
