The responsibilities of a Senior Engineer (Mechanical) include condition monitoring and maintenance of process equipment at a Mineral Separation Plant and Pre-Concentration Plant, supervising maintenance jobs and safety, executing maintenance and fabrication works, developing drawings for spare parts procurement, and increasing plant availability through record keeping and scheduling activities.

1. Responsibilities of Senior Engineer ( Mechanical)
• Conditionmonitoringof process/material handling
equipmentsat MineralSeparation Plant (MSP) and Pre
ConcentrationPlant (PCP).
• Preparation of history card for MSP and PCP equipments
• Supervision of maintenancejobs at MSP and PCP
• Safety and house keeping
• Execution of maintenance works at MSP and PCP
• Execution of fabricationand erection woks at MSP and
PCP
• Maintenanceof records/documents etc.
• Increase the availabilityof plant
• Responsible for maintenanceof records in respect of all
machineries associated in MSP and PCP includingbagging,
stitching and weighing machines
• Inspection of all lubricationsystems
• Schedulingdaily activities and preparationof job register.
• Development of drawings etc. for specialized spares,
imported spares and taking actionfor procurement
