2. Problem Statement:
• Operator 3 (Grade B/C) is responsible for handling the changeover on ported
dressing machine. Operator 3 is experiencing a problem since there is no
standardization of the changeover process.
Goals:
• Reduction in changeover time
• Reduction in technician support time
• Reduction in start-up waste
Deliverables
• Recommended wireless head -mounted display (HMD) unit
• Changeover visual manual for Ported Dressing machine
• Connectivity between HMD and server
• Analytics dashboard
• Tool to make updates to the visual manual

3. Proposed Solutions
• Create a step-by-step manual with the help of experienced operators
• Convert this manual into an interactive visual model(IVM) that will be referred by the
operator
• Create a wireless HMD that will assist the operator with the steps required in the
changeover process with the help of IVM
• Initially the technician will have to intervene during the callouts and do the entry of
probable solutions to every problem that is reported. We will use an ML model here to
learn with every iteration
• The HMD is wirelessly connected to the server which contains an AI/ML model that
will suggest the solutions from the learnings to the operator

• Business does not want to be dependant on
third party to implement the AR based manual.
• Ultimately the company would have to train
either the operator or technician to implement.
• Operators are open to learn new things but lack
trust in introducing technology.
• Company would have to invest in 3D graphics

OPERATOR
• Operator wants HMD to include a feature
where if he looks at a part of machine, HMD
should provide the default settings for it
