business’. WISE has been designed to give women the confidence and
capabilities to achieve their leadership goals.
This journey will help increase women’s participation in
executive leadership and development within communities.

Director, Varan Freestone is the key driving force of this initiative. It has
long been Varan’s dream to help women achieve their leadership goals and address
the gender equality challenges faced by today’s businesses.
Born in South Africa, Varan’s experiences facing racial, cultural and gender equality
issues growing up, as well as 14+ years running a corporate events business in
Australia, have fuelled her desire to help fellow business women reach their full
potential.
Peer discussions showed Varan she wasn’t alone in her experiences. Her purpose
was to develop a journey to help women unlock their potential to achieve
professional excellence through education, self discovery, open discussion and
collaboration. Varan is working closely with Women who are experts in their fields to
help facilitate the journey.
