She carried out these responsibilities to a very high level and I was very pleased with the outcomes of the
assessments taken by students taught by Vanessa.
What would you list as his/her main strength and weakness?
Strengths: Ability to communicate with staff and students, preparation in advance of the course &
lessons, timekeeping, subject knowledge over and above what was needed.
Weaknesses: None really identified other than preparing too much material for the course some of
which was to a higher standard than necessary but this just being over ambitious about what could be
covered in a short space of time with inexperienced students. To be honest, it is a rarity to find this
quality in part time temporary lecturers.
How did she/he fit in with the team/Company?
Couldn’t have asked for any better – she got on well with staff, colleagues, management and students
alike.

100% reliable.
What was the reason for leaving?
End of the course, we would have her back for more teaching next year if she wanted the hours.
