3. What is sustainable development ?
Sustainable development is the organizing principle for meeting human
development goals while simultaneously sustaining the ability of natural
systems to provide the natural resources and ecosystem services on
which the economy and society depends. The desired result is a state of
society where living conditions and resources are used to continue to
meet human needs without undermining the integrity and stability of the
natural system. Sustainable development can be defined as development
that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of
future generations to meet their own needs.

4. GOAL 13 โ CLIMATE ACTION
โข Climate action means stepped-up
efforts to reduce greenhouse gas
emissions and strengthen
resilience and adaptive capacity to
climate-induced impacts, including:
climate-related hazards in all
countries; integrating climate
change measures into national
policies, strategies and planning;
and improving education,
awareness-raising and human and
institutional capacity with respect
to climate change mitigation,
adaptation, impact reduction and
early warning.

6. Artificial Photosynthesis
Artificial photosynthesis is a chemical process that biomimics
the natural process of photosynthesis to
convert sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide into carbohydrates
and oxygen. The term artificial photosynthesis is commonly
used to refer to any scheme for capturing and storing the
energy from sunlight in the chemical bonds of a fuel (a solar
fuel). Photo catalytic water splitting converts water
into hydrogen and oxygen and is a major research topic of
artificial photosynthesis. Light-driven carbon dioxide
reduction is another process studied that replicates
natural carbon fixation.
