1) Shark Navigator Lift Away Pro
Consumers Love It: Owners consistently rate this vacuum 9
out of 10 or greater.

Weight: The Lift-Away Pro weighs a lightweight 14 lbs.

Power Cord Length: The power cord measures a full 30 feet.

Lift-Away Feature: The Lift-Away feature is a mobile
detachable vacuuming unit.

Brushbar on/off: The powered brushbar can be turned on/off

Dust Canister Capacity: The Lift-Away does not have to be

Warranty: 5 years.

Upright & Canister vacuum: This upright comes with a
detachable canister with its own carrying strap.

Lightweight: Weighs a paltry 12 pounds.

Headlight: Comes with a lifetime LED headlight.
- No brushbar on/off Power Cord Length: 35 feet.

Manufactured in Germany: A rarity in this day and age.
- Fairly expensive at Warranty: The vacuum carries a 7-year warranty on the motor
about $650. and Miele estimates that the lifespan of the vacuum is about
20 years.
- Heavy at 22 llbs.


4) Hoover Commercial Elite C1404
- Bagged upright that gets fantastic consumer ratings
- Light and powerful machine with a long power cord
- Capable on both carpet and bare floors
- Commonly used by consumers for residential cleaning
- A very Plain Jane unit with few bells & whistles
- Somewhat old fashioned looking

- Bagless upright that uses cyclonic suction
- Washable filters
- Designed for homes with pets
- Capable on both carpet and bare floors
- Solid reviews from hundreds upon hundreds of owners
- Fairly expensive at $500+
- Some owners feel the dust canister is small



6) Shark Navigator Lift Away
- Similar to our #1 but lighter and with a smaller dust canister
- Washable filters
- 5-year limited warranty
- Great owner ratings
- Very lightweight at 12.8 lbs
- Has detachable canister (lift-away feature)
- Power cord is a bit short (25 ft)
- Narrow nozzle width (11 inches)
7) Bissell Healthy Home 16N5
- HEPA filtration
- 7 height adjustment settings
- 5-year warranty
- Wide cleaning path of 15 inches
- Reasonably long 30 ft power cord
- Somewhat heavy at about 22 lbs
- Telescopic wand can be tricky to use



8) Miele Bolero
- HEPA filter with activated carbon
- Well built
- Quiet
- Powerful suction
- Great looking machine
- LED pushbutton suction control
- Somewhat heavy (22 lbs)
- Expensive at about $800

- Dyson’s new streamlined bagless upright.
- Very long 35 foot power cord
- Powerful suction (235 airwatts)
- Automatic nozzle height adjustment
- HEPA filtration
- 5-year warranty
- Doesn’t easily get under low furniture
- Some owners find the wand awkward to use


10) Miele Twist
- Extremely long 39 foot power cord
- One of the most affordable Miele uprights
- Variable suction controls
- Automatic height adjustment
- Not too loud
- At 22 lbs some owners may find it heavy
- Bags & filters are well made but can be pricey
