Networking
it helps innovators discover new directions by making
connections across seemingly unrelated questions,
problems, and ideas.
Ask to understand how things really are today, why
they are that way, and how they might be changed or
disrupted. These questions provoke new insights,
connections, possibilities, and directions.
Carefully watch the world around them including
customers, products, services, technologies, and
companies, and the observations help them gain
insights into and ideas for new ways of doing things.
Spend a lot of time and energy finding and testing
ideas through a diverse network of individuals who
vary wildly in their backgrounds and perspectives.
They may offer a radically different view of things.
ntent
Constantly trying out new experiences and piloting

Key Points:
Local vs International Market: For internet and technology businesses, operating solely in the local market is often not enough. Polish companies typically prefer to establish themselves in the domestic market before going international.
International Expansion: Nearly half of Polish startups, especially those in early stages, sell products or services abroad, mainly in Germany, France, and the United States. This trend is highlighted in a study conducted by the Startup Hub Poland Foundation on behalf of PayPal.
Challenges in International Expansion: Going international is not an easy process for startups. They encounter various challenges, including diverse legal regulations and management of international payments. About 43% of young Polish companies identify payment management as a barrier to international expansion. Moreover, only just over 40% of startups selling abroad offer local payment methods, which limits their growth opportunities. We have BLIK !
Strategy and Growth: For most technology companies, international expansion is a strategic goal. Business success often depends on the scale of the business. The domestic market is large enough to be used as a testing ground for new technologies and business models.
Startups by Immigrants: Over 70% of startups founded by immigrants in Poland target international customers from the beginning, indicating better preparedness for global expansion.
Future Priorities: For companies already involved in international sales, the priorities for the coming year include developing sales (33%), expanding into new markets (19%), and raising capital (11%).
The Polish Association of University Knowledge Transfer Companies (PSC) was established on January 8, 2014 between the SPVs of Polish universities and research institutes.

National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) the largest funding centre for research and development in Central and Eastern Europe. The main objective of this Center is to support the competitiveness of the Polish economy through the implementation of scientific research results on the commercial market. is a governmental agency established on 1 July 2007 in order to implement tasks in the area of science and innovation policy. The main tasks of NCBR include: management and financing the national strategic R+D programmes defined in the National Research Programme, supporting the commercialization of research results and technology transfer, financing the programmes of applied research, supporting young researchers’ career through targeted programmes, supporting researchers’ mobility and participation in international programmes and financing R+D projects carried out by Polish teams in international collaboration
Hackathons etc
Questioning - why not to connect with doctors online? Why we have to use fossil fuels? Do we need to have an account number to make payment? How to make it easier, for ex with a phone number?
Associational - what fonts have to do with PC?
Observing - nature - termites and their houses, what is the power of AI and how it can be used to optimize work?
