- Good morning! It is my pleasure to get to speak with you today and update you on the progress we have made on the campus village project. We are getting excited to see the buildings start to take form and wanted you to see how the landscape on south campus is changing.
- We are excited to be participating in the largest building project in the history of the state of SC. This 240 million dollar project will add over half a million square feet for our students to engage and grow in.
- There are four buildings and a transportation hub to the project. I wanted to orient you so you know what I'm referring to as we move through this presentation.
- Campus village was intentionally designed to reimagine and revitalize south campus. It not only will house students—which we will get to, but it also hold a lot of engagement opportunities. We have two living learning communities that will be housed in buildings 3 and 4. We have a satellite office for the student success center with offices and multipurpose space. It will house a health center outpost. Each building has community lounges, kitchens, study spaces...places for staff and students to really build community and enhance the student experience. We have three collaboration spaces that look a lot like classrooms and multiple food options including a brand new all you can eat dining hall, a starbucks, and a convenience store.
