It is with tremendous pleasure that I write this certification for M. Umberto Martini.
I have worked with Umberto during his internship and he has been an outstanding resource for
all of us.
Umberto is an independent, self‐directed person who is able to perform multiple tasks effectively
and meet the most demanding challenges. Needless to say he is also an excellent team player,
working very well with others, and has always shown the utmost respect and courtesy to all.
During his time at The Triana Group he has been working under the direct supervision of Ms.
Khushbu Khing, consultant, and myself, Jabril Bensedrine, managing director at the firm.
His tasks included, but were not limited to:
• Assisting consultants by providing feedback on an open source business analytics
platform, one of the firm’s clients’ product.
• Completing a full competitive analysis including SWOT for the same software in the
market of Business Intelligence.
• Gathering and analyzing publicly available data of the largest New York hospitals
and their patients.
• Building a spreadsheet-based mini-ERP that can calculate costs, breakeven as well
as revenues taking into account multiple scenarios and changeable variables.
• Assisting more senior consultants in presentations to key accounts on behalf of a
client.
