BERMUDES OF AURORA LEAD CoSIDA ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICA®
DIVISION III SOCCER TEAMS
AUSTIN, Texas – Seniors Logan Andryk of Milwaukee School of Engineering and Nicci Bermudes of Aurora
University highlight the 2015 Academic All-America® Division III Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams selected by the
College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Andryk, a forward from Hartland, Wisconsin, maintains a 3.80 G.P.A. as a biomolecular engineering major.
Bermudes is a forward from San Diego, California, and carries a 3.92 G.P.A. as a health science major. Both are
repeat CoSIDA Academic All-America® first-team selections. Bermudes is making her third appearance overall,
earning third team honors in 2013.
On the field, Andryk is a three-time NSCAA All-America honoree and is just one of 19 players in NCAA Division III
history to record 40 goals and 40 assists during his career. In 2014, he earned first team All-America honors from
both the NSCAA and D3soccer.com.
Bermudes has 31 goals and eight assists for 70 points this season for Aurora. She earned second team All-America
honors from both the NSCAA and D3soccer.com last season after scoring 35 goals and dishing out 13 assists for 83
points. She is the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference career co-leader in goals with 100.
Both the 11-member CoSIDA Academic All-America® men’s and women’s soccer first teams have combined to
boast a 3.86 grade point average. On the men’s side, four members -- Joslyn, Sam Konstanty (Texas-Dallas), Austin
Freel (MIT), and Josiah Groff (Lancaster Bible), have each achieved a 4.0 G.P.A. Two members of the women’s first
team, Lynchburg’s Natalie Deacon and Hanover’s Megan Insley, have recorded perfect 4.0 GPAs.
CoSIDA Academic All-America® Division III Men’s Soccer Team
Andryk is one of four men to repeat his selection from 2014. Louis Joslyn, from Simpson (Iowa), joins Andryk on the
first team after earning the Academic All-America® second team nod last year. Stephen Golz, from Wheaton (Ill.) is a
second team pick this season after grabbing an Academic All-America® first team spot in 2014, while Loras’ Sam
Koenig repeats as a third team honoree.
Goalkeeper Felix Lindeberg (Plymouth State); defenders Andreas Fatschel (Carnegie Mellon), Martin Fevre
(Elizabethtown) and Matthew Sherr (Emory), and forwards Drew Demich (Hood) and Sam Yarosh (Haverford) join
Andryk, Konstanty, Groff and Joslyn on the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Division III men’s first team.
