2. -… annnd Welcome back again to Instant City – a BaMC Challenge. Last time, we saw the former Bigfeet now Bigfeet and
Journalists household covering Numa Key the Late Mootildas Moo Mews, filling in the row house gaps… and now it is the
musician households turn…-
‘Can we have a concert hall? Or perhaps an opera? That would be nice!’
- … sorry, we don’t have enough space left, and a concert hall only 2x1 or 1x1 big kinda feels wrong…-
‘Oh… okay, I understand that, but at least something associated with music, hm?’
- ... We’ll see…-

3. -… but first – show me the goods! –
‘’EWWW!’
-… I mean the stuff in your inventories, you numbskull… holey moley, the other household really gutted and stuffed you…-

4. -… and three bookcases of education? Hm, I thought it were only two and… oh never mind…-

5. -… let’s go studying! –
‘Ehrm, we kinda have a concert tonight…’
- Not before you max logic! –
‘Yeah, yeah… man, I am a musician, not a Vulcan…’

6. -… stupid star trek quotes aside, everyone became Mr. Spo… maxed logic, and then it was time for the concert… and chance
cards: Servo G-2 with his incredible musical talent is just about to deliver the most awesome Rock Show of all times, when
the audience demands a stage dive. Servo G-2 would like to do a stage dive, but then he remembers a few scary stories
about musicians who did the stage dive and were never seen again. Should Servo G-2 really do the dive or amaze the crowd
from the stage with another killer solo? –
‘YEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!’

7. -… Servo G-2 is a Rock star through and through – he’d never fear an admiring fan! Jumping off from the drum set, he takes
a full frontal stage dive into the audience, that then starts to carry him through the entire arena. The Event writes history as
the longest stage dive ever done. Every Magazine celebrates Servo G-2’s stage dive as the epitome of rock, and concert
managers around the globe open their check books, just to book a Servo G-2 concert – and Servo G-2 earns 45.000
Simoleons!-
‘ YEAAH! YEAAAH! YEAAAAAAA:..argh!’ *loses voice*
- …yeah. -

8. -…. And after that, it’s again the ‘colleague wants to see movie marathon, should we go with him?’ – hobby card… I didn’t
even bother with the answer, I guess, we paid another 100 bucks for this stuff…-

9. -… and after that the ‘Simtopia Ballet – can we get a discount card’ – card…-

10. -… and we get a secret membership card instead... Okay, nuff chance, lets skill again…-
‘*groan*’

11. -…and surprisingly, the household was extremely fast when it came to maxing all skills… of course, one of the reasons was
probably that they already had several skill points top music, but still fast…-

12. -… in fact, short before the end of spring, we were also able to each get an additional skill in physiology, lifelong happiness,
anger management and how to extinguish a fire…-

13. -… so with rent and bills paid, it was once more time to buy and manage a business…-
‘ a ‘musical business’!’
- Nope! –
‘Wha…?’
- I’ll experiment around, and never bothered the rotation whether or not a specific business fits a households ‘theme’…-

14. -… besides, who could not like Mootildas Casino? I like especially, that it raises our population once more and opens up
another educational career… though there was a tiny detail besides the roof that I changed, so instead of the poker tables
Mootilda had placed in here…-

15. -… I decided to make it a Billiard Bar, as the whole design somehow say ‘pool billiard’ to me… also, a ticket machine was
placed to further income…-

16. -… so we started annnd… yeah, I didn’t completely thing that through, as a Billiard table needs apparently more than just a
free 4x5 space… 5x6 would have been better to stop Sims from blocking each other and … oh well…-

17. -… still it was manageable, the servos slowly raised their pool skills…-

18. -… then a smooth criminal walked into the bar…-
‘ BARTENDER! Give me every alcoholic beverage you have in store, ‘cause tonight I’m gonna drink until I forget my own
name…!’

19. -… besides drunken Bigfeet, with adjusting the investment perks, we also received many more income boni…-

20. -… and in time, everybody became a master pool billiard player… still , the problem of Sims blocking each other at the
billiard tables still persisted…-

21. -..and while we made it to Level 10 anyway, I really looked out for a solution…-

22. -… and… kinda… found one, by playing the billiard tables sideways… because while Sims can still play with them, the game
considers the sideway billiard table only as a 1x1 object instead of 3x2, so there is now more space to go around instead of
blocking each other… of course, it also means, that Sims can now walk right through the table, which looks odd, but… I’ll
just go with the idea of a holographic Billiard table or so… okay, Pool Billiard is done, on to the next business…-
‘Music?!’
- Nope – still not in the mood…-

23. -… instead we redo another Moo Mews by Mootilda, the former Coffee, now Coffee and Poker…-
‘Wait, let me get this straight: you have a casino and made it into a billiard bar, now you have a coffee bar and make it into a
casino?’
- Hey, I admire everything Mootilda did, but I will not put her on a pedestal and declare everything she build to be
untouchable to changes…-

24. -… so we started the coffee and poker… and to get everyone to the table from the start, some of the servos acted as…
dealers? I guess, I have no idea how to play poker… well, they didn’t either, but they still won a decent amount to be fair..-

25. -… and Link, Vonnie and the Journalist guy whose name I forgot also joined the fun…-

26. -… and even after we emptied his pockets to the ground, he still gave us a price for such a great poker coffee bar…-
‘Coffee? I’ve been standing behind the bar since last week and haven’t had single customer…’
-… okay, but your friend at the piano got a few tips…-
‘Yeah, yeah, whatever… I’m gonna run amok now, because you forgot to recharge yesterday…’
- Wha..? NOOOO….! -

27. -… okay, so thankfully, Servo G-2 calmed down from running amok… of course I forgot to shoot a picture, otherwise this
would have been interesting… than got his Gold Sales Badge, watched a fire… had an… affair? WHUT?! –
‘I swear, I didn’t do anything – this thing just appeared by itself… oh and also, the dream date I had was with my
Servafriend, who can testify, that I still love her… oh and I also won the big Texas hold em price and have now earned
100.000..’
-… mmokay… in fact, this seems to be either a glitch or there is a game mechanic during poker or working at the coffee bar,
that counts a flirting or whatever…-

28. -… okay, so the games continued… the Not-Komei came over, lost everything including his moon rock pets and had to give us
a price just to keep his pants…-

29. -… and while Vonnie and Link probably held the longest poker game ever – seriously, they played almost a week without
even going to the bathroom – we reached level 10…-

30. -… so once more it was time to…-
‘MUSIC! MUSIC! MUSIC! MUSIC!’
- Okay, okay… the next one is about music, okay? -

31. -… and here it is: the Bonfire Club! –
‘Ookay… so it looks like another Moo Mews, with a fake roof… but Bonfire?’

32. -… well, this was actually the Mootildas Electro dance Club, equipped with Dance Spheres… but I already had a Dance
Sphere at the Gym in Numa Key and wanted to try out something else again… and these fire jets from Nightlife just look so
impressive… of course they are also dangerous, so after first trying to leave a bit of space open so sims could roast
marshmallows or sausages at the fire jets, I fenced them in with these small fences who apparently provide a flawless fire
protection – no Sims got burned by the fire jets… though admittedly, that way they don’t provide anything to the
environment score, but since their environment score is only two, it’s not such a big loss – and on a side note: while a lot of
blue is used here for floors and wall elements, remember, that a flame blames blue if they get enough oxygen, so it’s less a
fire/water then a more/less oxygen theme…-

33. -… anyway, I also replaced the Nightlife DJ booth with the Freetime DJ booth, because it is able to hold dance contests and
comes in a blue color version, which just looked better in the club…-

34. -… oh, and while I haven’t had made up my mind at this point, what defines as a ‘club ‘ for the BaCC Challenge, I’ve settled
down with the following:
- A club is every business, where you can only earn money with: a.) juice bars, b.) Freetime DJ Booths and/or c.) music
instruments – as an exception, I allowed earning money with abilities not tied to the business and its objects, like
rapping and fortune perks…-
- I pondered the question, whether or not I should add the Bon Voyage Snack bars and the ticket machine to the list of
objects to make money, or if a combined business with a second floor that works as a regular shop also counts as a club, but
decided against it - but that came later, so there were a few ‘false’ clubs along the way…-

35. -… anyway, the Bonfire Club passed its baptism of fire… and was actually quite fun to play, especially the dance contests
were a hoot…-

36. -… though the household first sucked with winning, and if it wasn’t for the fact, that a visitor winning the contest doesn’t
cost the household any price money, there wouldn’t have been another contest for a while, but so we did contest after
contest after contest…-

37. -… and eventually, the household won on a regular basis, earning money for their win… oookay, so this is our club, and if a
visitor wins, we don’t lose money, but if we win, get price money… this is kinda a backwards mechanic… -
‘No, no no… you’re getting it wrong… remember, that Professor Disc doesn’t hate music anymore? He even set up a dance
contest fund, and we get money from that! And since his household isn’t played in this time, he doesn’t lose money from it,
because what happens with another household stays with another household. Of course, if his household is played, and
they win a dance contest, we have to pay them, but since this happens with his household and not ours, he…’
- STOOOOOP! I’m making the insane logic up here, not you! –
‘ *Phshew*… suit yourself, I just wanted to help..’

38. -… okay, so we all dance contested through the night, I tried the ‘rally forth’ ability to see if it had a positive effect on gaining
customers stars by raising the customers motives, but it didn’t make much of a difference, so I didn’t repeat it later…-

39. -… and it didn’t really matter, because while it took some time, I could just speed up the game and wait for the customer
stars to roll in – here we reach level 5… now admittedly, a lot of Servos were our customers, so this might have an effect on
gaining customer stars without much trouble, while normal Sims might be more eager to start a tantrum…-

40. -… but even Karen, while not giving us a good review, which is mostly due to the fact, that without any sales options
possible on a club there is no way to give a journalist enough customer stars during the time window where they give their
review, enjoyed her stay quite visibly…-

41. -… again, we had mostly Servos as guests, so this might be the reason for the fast leveling up… but heck, everyone is having
fun, we win contest after contest – on good days, we make up to 2000 price money per day…-

42. -… so it is understandably, that I had to close the club a few times, simply because I forgot to let the household recharge…-

43. -…. And finally, we made it to level 10, so it was time to go home again…-
‘AWWWW – but we’re having sooo much fun…!’
-…. …. Okay, we’re gonna drag this out a bit, because I’m having fun too for once, but first…-

44. -… we’re making a small detour to the Promenade sur la plage again… because since you own the Bonfire club, it’s only
fitting to learn the (Bon-)Fire dance, and then make pictures later of you impressing guests with it…-
‘Sounds like a good idea…’
- Yea… good idea… unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of that… *headdesk*…-

45. -… but at least we could now hand over some of the bookcases of education we have still stored in inventory over to
Professor Disc as a means to educate future generations…-

46. -… while the last one goes to Servo H-1, so they can up their skills when it’s their turn…-

47. -… and then it was already time to go back home, we had time for one final concert, another stage dive chance card
happened annnd… Servo G-4 refuses to do a stage dive and instead surprises everyone with an incredible Guitar Solo, the
likes the audience has never witnessed, and the refused stage dive is completely forgotten, as the untamed energy of the G-
4-Guitar Solo rocks the hall. In the aftermath, the word ‘stage dive’ becomes a synonym for ‘Servo G-4-Guitar-Solo’ and
many rock bands around the world want to learn it from Servo G-4. For his tutoring, he is rewarded with 36.000 Simoleons!
… niiice….-

48. -… and with that, Spring came to an end for the G-household… btw, I also spotted, that some of the household members got
the ‘more loan network perk’ and are therefore earning even more money than the others…-

49. -…annnd that’s it… and here we see how life is for a successful group of world class musicians… standing deactivated around
their mailbox while a hail storm passing through the hood… truly, a great life… no really, I’d like it, as long as don’t have to
live it…

50. -… anyway, this was it for household G, see you in…-
