2. Club communication will be done by e-mail.
Please try to check the e-mail once a day.
Please reply to the e-mail that requires your reply.

3. Please send an e-mail for proxies（委任状） if you
are absent.
For example, when making important decisions at
regular meetings. It is decided by voting.
To satisfy the quorum(定足数）,
a majority of participation is necessary.

4. About 10 days before the meeting
VPE (Vice President Education) will send a
notification e-mail of attendance and available
roles confirmation mail to members.

5. Members should choose a role and reply to VPE
using Google Forms by Monday.
If you do not know how to use the Google Forms,
please send an e-mail to our VPE.

7. 1. Opening thought speaker
- to make any short speech at the beginning of the meeting
2. Closing thought speaker
- to make any short speech at the end of the meeting
3. Joke Master
- to give some jokes and humorous remarks

8. • If you are uncertain whether you can
participate, please let the VPE know the
situation.
• If you can participate on that day, even
without notice you are welcome to.
• In case of a sudden participation, you will be
assigned to some undecided roles or
there won’t be any role.

9. • Please inform the VPE and EV (Evaluator)
about the speech manual, speech project,
speech title, and speech time.
• Prepared speakers will provide an evaluation
sheet for the evaluators and ask them to fill in
the evaluation sheet
• Evaluation sheets can also be sent
by e-mail in advance.

2.Evaluation & Feed back
3.Researching & Presentation

24. Speech: Self-introduction speech
Allotted Time: 4-6 minutes
It is your opportunity to introduce
yourself to the group and share
something about yourself.

25. The purpose of this project is to
present a speech on any topic, receive
feedback, and apply the feedback to a
second speech.

26. There are three parts in this category:
1. Prepared speech
2. Revised speech
3. Evaluation
for the prepared speech

27. 1. Prepared speech
Allotted Time: 5-7 minutes
Speech: any topic is OK.

28. 2. Revised speech
Allotted Time: 5-7 minutes
You can use the same speech with revisions
applied from the evaluation of the first
speech or you can make a different one.

29. 3.Evaluation for the prepared speech
Allotted Time: 2-3 minutes
☆You need to ask someone for
verbal and written evaluation of
your evaluated speech.
(A general evaluator evaluates your
evaluation in West Tokyo TMC)

30. Speech: Prepared speech
Allotted Time: 5-7 minutes
Select a topic that you are not familiar with
or that you wish to learn more about.

31. You will ask VPE for Level 1 approval.
(President or Secretary will also make an
approval) Please let them know the date
of your speeches and evaluation.
VPE will approve after confirmation of
evaluation sheets or minutes of
the meeting or agendas, etc.
