Blake Mycoskie, TOMS Shoes: Blake is the founder of TOMS Shoes, a for-profit
that donates a pair of shoes to a person in need for every one sold. Under the
company’s label, the One for One movement has given over one million pairs to
children while NGO-affiliate Friends of TOMS coordinates Shoe Drops around the
world for employees and volunteers to experience the giving of shoes first-hand.
The brand is now stocked at more than 500 outlets globally. For his efforts, Blake
received the People’s Design Award and Secretary of State’s 2009 Award for
Corporate Excellence, invited to speak at such events as TED and South by
Southwest as well having TOMS named Fast Company’s Top Ten Most Innovative

Raj Ridvan Singh, SOLS 24/7: Raj serves as the International Director & Co-
Founder of SOLS 24/7, which has provided 26,000 youths with training in
academic, job, leadership and life-skills education. Previously helming the role of
director of SOLS 24/7 in East Timor, he is currently expanding his social
development work as the Country Director of SOLS 24/7 Malaysia.
For his continuous efforts in youth education, he was awarded the
YouthActionNet Award 2004 by International Youth Foundation, Youth & ICT
Award 2005 by Global Knowledge Partnership, Youth Social Enterprise Fellowship
(15,000 USD) by YSEI in 2006 and the KLue Blue Chilli Award Malaysia 2008.
