Recommendation letter for Traci Albers
It is an honor to provide this letter of recommendation for Traci. I first became acquainted with Traci as
a student in McKendree University’s MBA Program. This is an academically demanding program which
requires students to master both quantitative and qualitative business skills. Most recently, Traci was a
student in three of my courses – MBA 623 Research Methods, MBA 652 Organizational Behavior, and
MBA 628 Leadership & Change Management. Through her course work I have come to know her as a
successful administrator, mother, and full-time graduate student. As I have observed her academic
career over the 18 months I have come to understand that Traci excels in all areas of her life. Indeed,
through my interactions with her, it has become very clear that Traci embodies many of the fine traits
we all aspire to – goal-oriented, dedicated, compassionate, focused, and successful.
I find Traci to be an individual who possesses several valuable strengths and talents. First, and foremost,
she is intrinsically motivated. Working with Traci is always a positive experience as I find her to be
capable, thoughtful, and well prepared. Second, Traci demonstrates leadership abilities beyond her
years. For example, in the classroom, I observed Traci was able to work well with all her classmates,
often serving as a peer leader. During a very challenging team simulation Traci served as informal team
leader. The other students on her team indicated they were “very satisfied” with the simulation process
and her contributions. In addition to these talents, I find her to be well spoken, articulate, and poised.
Traci’s strong sense of self radiates to those around her, making them feel comfortable and at ease.
I recommend Traci without reservation, as I know she will excel at any task she sets her mind to do.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this well-qualified, successful individual.
Sincerely,
Roxanne Beard, Ph.D., MBA
