- Now, I’ve been talking a lot about communication. But what you're looking for, and what we can help you with, is not just communication... it's ways to enrich your community so every day is better for your residents, and so new people see the value of coming to live at your community. We can help you do this by giving you an integrated set of tools - TV, digital signage, calendars, web, and safety devices - to bring people together. One of the interesting things about Touchtown is that it frequently becomes resident-driven; the residents themselves become involved and produce their own multimedia content. Some may create TV shows about their favorite hobbies, or narrate photos they took from recent travel excursions. Others may play music or read poetry. This photo is a still shot from a video resident profile. The woman in the photo is a former concert pianist, Adele Moody, reminiscing about her days with the Metropolitan Opera. It’s a video, and in the background is a soundtrack of Adele playing Debussy’s Claire de Lune. Videos like this encourage residents to seek each other out when they discover that they have common interests. And the videos themselves also become priceless heirlooms for family and loved ones. So you can use Touchtown to enhance your residents’ daily lives, and that in turn becomes a showcase for family, friends and especially for prospective resident.
