Editor's Notes
What is it? A developer incentive program that rewards you for learning about development and applying your skills.
DreamSpark is the Microsoft program that provides students with access to our developer tools for free.
Software includes Visual Studio professional and SQL Server.
There are actually two versions of DreamSpark:
DreamSpark Standard which is available to ALL students
DreamSpark Premium which is only available to students in technical programs such as graphic design, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, etc… DreamSpark premium gives you access to additional software such as Windows 8, OneNote, Visio, and Microsoft Project, it also gives you the most full featured version of Visual Studio: Visual Studio Ultimate!
If you know the URL for your school for DreamSpark and can demo how to log in and start downloading software that would be a great thing to do after showing this slide.
