The company was formed by the past employees of Verizon Airfone, Inc. Since its founding
Aerotek Design Labs, LLC primary business has been to provide engineering services and
aftermarket support services; engineering, manufacturing, materials and maintenance,
repair/overhaul and kitting services in the commercial IFE sector. Aerotek Labs is a full
service FAA organization holding STC’s, and PMA Approval, under FAR part 21.308h. The
company is also certified under FAR part 145 as a Certified Repair Station (CRS), and
holds European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval.

system design and acceptance tests are properly documented, reviewed,

under FAR part 145 located in Plainfield, Illinois, USA. All parts are inspected,
repaired, tested and re-certified to specification prior to being returned to service
with FAA Form 8130-3. Components are added to our FAA Capability Listing as a
value added service to our customer base. We are also EASA Certified.
• Aerotek Designs staff has the ability to develop the test procedures required to
support LRU repair and return to service and is experienced with adding
components to our FAA Capability List.
• Aerotek can also include our custom MTBF tracking system for reliability/Pareto
data analysis. Quality Statistics reports are part of what is provided to our
customers.
• The vast majority of products will require modification at some point in their life
cycle. Aerotek Design Labs, LLC stands ready to identify, design, and implement
these modifications as they arise.
