AIC’s complete approach to research and development in security technologies
has led it to being the premier provider of some of the most effective defenses
against “active shooters” in our school systems today and to the implementation
of award-winning and nationally-recognized C4 (Command, Control,
Communications, Collaboration) deployments in the maritime industry.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE/
DISASTER RECOVERY
AIC rapidly deployed Command and Control Centers for the Greater Lafourche
Port Commission in their emergency response to and recovery from the Macondo
deepwater oil spill. AIC procured all hardware and other equipment needed for
both locations and had the two fully functional centers operational within 48
hours.
Award - winning regional
collaboration
AIC was the lead engineering team on Port Fourchon’s regional command and
control system and lead integrator on their high-risk intrusion detection
surveillance system. As a result of AIC’s role in deployment of this system, Port
Fourchon competed for and received the American Association of Port
Authorities’ 2013 Information Technology Award, which is internationally
recognized. Most recently, FEMA touted the system as a “Best Use” of grant
funds and is now posted on the DHS “Best Practices” in emergency preparedness
and homeland security website (https://www.llis.dhs.gov).
