Summary:
I had been employed with Sherry Laboratories (now Element Broken Arrow) since September 2006, first as a Mechanical
Testing Technician. Then in November 2009 I began to serve additional duties as an AWS CWI. These responsibilities
were increased to include other non-destructive testing, technical customer service, final review of testing plans and
detailed instructions for the machinists and technicians involved, and review/reporting of testing results as an approved
signatory. The material specifications and weld codes that I worked with on a daily basis include (not limited to) ASME
BPVC Sections I through X, ISO PED including the NACE and BS EN codes, AWS Section 5 & D1.1 through D17.1, CSA,
ASTM.
Update: Left Element Materials Technology for SGS Pipeline Integrity Services - North America in early January to work
as a field agent Certified Welding Inspector, Authorized Inspector, and NDT Tech, and was laid off beginning the first of
March, 2015.
