2. Props used in my photoshoot
I used a guitar in my photoshoot for my Front
cover this was to provide my magazine with
a sense of authenticity and give the illusion
of it being a real media product.
I also used drumsticks these were also used
to give the magazine a sense of authenticity
I used shades and bracelets to conform to
the many stereotypes of rock music
magazines and make the subject of the
magazine seem cool.
3. Props used in my photoshoot
I also used a denim jacket for my
front cover which was used to give
the rough and dirty impression that a
lot of rock is known for.
Another item of clothing I used in my
photoshoot for my front cover was the
sleeveless shirt to not only conform to
the stereotypes of rock music but also
to give a testosterone and manly
feeling the cover as it is more centred
to men.
4. Props used in my photoshoot
In my contents page I used a
record, this was to give not only
an authentic feeling to the
magazine but also to have a
prop relevant to the story like a
real music magazine.
5. Props used in my photoshoot
I used a leather jacket in my
double page spread to both give a
rough and hard feel but also to
give of the dark and glum colour
palette that the jacket reflects.
