PREMIUMFASHION
WOMENSWEAR MENSWEAR
Our customers are very loyal to Michael
Kors, particularly for coats and jackets
(£150-£250). Dresses (£145) and tops
(£85-£145) from Samsøe & Samsøe are
very popular. Set Fashion is also doing
well, especially the blouses (£150) and
leather jackets (£300). We’re finding that
green, rust tones, khaki and camel are the
bestselling colours this season.
Nicole Gallacher Marketing manager of Lewis
Yates in Billericay, Essex
Shirts from Hackett (£100) and Eton
(£135) are our bestsellers. We’re finding
slightly darker colours and blue shades
are popular. We don’t have any new
brands at the moment, but we’ve just got
the new spring 2017 collection in and it’s
performing really well.
Tim Wolstenholme Co-owner of
Andrew Watson Menswear in Belfast
Our top sellers are Kenzo tops (£65)
and sweatshirts (£200) in all colours.
Although Balmain is a new brand
for us, its navy blue and black jackets
(£1,200-£1,400) are already performing
incredibly well. Moncler coats (£500-
£800) in cream, navy blue and pink are
popular as well. Those brands are what
customers want at the moment and
they’re staying loyal to them.
Nick Florry Managing director of the Changing
Room in Tunbridge Wells
Everything from Gucci is doing well
(£200-£500). Saint Laurent is another
bestseller, especially the T-shirts and
knitwear (£300-£700). Moncler jackets
(£400-£700) are also selling quickly.
Light blues and reds are doing well at the
moment, and black always performs well.
Matt Bradley General manager of
Giulio Menswear in Cambridge
Spring coats are our top-selling product,
especially from Marella (£199-£399).
Pinko cashmere sweaters (£299) are also
really popular. Tops from Max & Moi
(£179) are another customer favourite
because they’re comfortable and have
some lovely sleeve detailing, which is
a good solution for customers looking
to cover their arms. At the moment,
traditional creams, whites and greys are
popular, but so are coral and some reds.
Jane Stanley Owner of Private Collection
in Barnstaple, Devon
Vivienne Westwood is our top brand for
shirts (£200). Versace’s white T-shirts
(£75) are doing well and so are True
Religion mid-washed denim jeans
(£250). Customers know the brands are
great quality and will come back to buy
them again. We have had a long
relationship with those brands. New
names we stock include Comme des
Garçons and DSquared2.
Alfie Hope Store manager of Capital
Collection in Grimsby
Diane von Furstenberg is our
top-selling label – the cashmere sweaters
and cardigans (£150-£350) are
performing especially well. Trousers from
Max Mara and Sportmax are doing well
(both £150-£350). The colours proving
popular at the moment are navy, cream,
pale pink and a bit of yellow.
Susan Nicholas Owner of Mosaique
in Stratford-upon-Avon
Stone Island is our bestseller – its jackets
(£450) and overshirts (£250) are selling
quickly. CP Company’s jackets (£450)
and overshirts (£250) are doing well, too.
Jeans from Armani Jeans (from £105)
are also popular – they’re a good price for
designer denim. Stone Island and CP
Company keep their brands exclusive and
that maintains their popularity. Pastel
colours, such as light blues and greens,
are proving popular for spring 17.
