1. Forge Alliance joins Aero-Marine Engineering with Clean Air Task Force in creating a partnership that
addresses air quality as it relates to global warming. Aero Marine Engineering uses an anti-corrosion
protective coating, TechniCoat, which works to decrease air pollution caused by harmful contaminates
dispersed into our air through industrial air conditioning units. AME will sponser Clean Air Task Force, a
nonprofit organization (headquartered in Boston, MA) that is dedicated to restoring clean air and healthy
environments. The crux of the campaign is the partnership’s powerful branding symbol created by Dutch
kinetic sculptor, Theo Jansen. Jansen’s intricately engineered sculpture (shown above) incorporates light-
weight plastic and white paper. Powered solely by wind, the sculpture strides along the coast, serving as a
barometer of toxicity as its wing-like back, woven with special white paper, collects harmful airborne
particles. As this media beacon tours coast to coast, it becomes a walking, public educator.
