Key Traits That Define A CEO as
A Great Leader
 Although its sounds trivial, there is a big difference
between the best leaders, great leaders and good
leaders. When you speak about CEOs and managing
directors, what comes to peoples’ minds is money
and power rather than leadership.
 The position of a CEO is the least understood yet the most
coveted job in any company. While many people consider a CEO as
a magically competent person, that is far from the truth. The key
traits of a CEO with great leadership skills include:
They understand every aspect of the
business
 This is basically the most important trait of a good CEO.
 When the leader of a particular business doesn’t know how
departments within the business work, a simple disagreement can
bring the whole business down. A good leader knows how the
business operates and has his way of integrating the whole
organization into a perfectly synchronized system. The CEO should
know how each department operates and how to make them work
harmoniously towards the common goal of the company.
They are good at decision making
The best CEOs are great decision
makers. In other words, they
can analyze data, declare their
views, weight alternatives, and
pass across their decision
clearly. Making clear decisions is
important in setting off a good
chain reaction. When a CEO
makes a clear decision, it gives
his workers confidence.
They have knowledge of the industry
