1. Inspired by his father’s magnificent football career (a
CFL Hall of Famer), Christian was ranked the top high
school defensive lineman in Canada, recording an
impressive 276 tackles and 38 sacks.
His country took notice…and so did Rice University. In
three seasons, Christian recorded five sacks as a
freshmen, leading the C-USA conference and tied
second among all other freshman in the country.
The next season, he impressed coaches around the
league with his poise, work ethic and performance on
the field, earning him a First-team All C-USA selection.
After a successful collegiate stint, his dream came true
when the Texans selected him in the 2015 NFL draft,
allowing him to stay in Houston…a city he is proud to
call home.
Like many from the Lone Star state, football runs in
Christian’s veins. Raised in a loving family, his parents
coached him to be a kind, warmhearted gentleman off
the field, and a fierce competitor on it. No stranger to
community involvement, he is excited to contribute in a
way only people from Texas can relate to…BIG!
