1. Born and raised in Houston, TX, Thurman is no stranger
to hard work. After earning 2 First Team All-American
selections at Oklahoma State University, he was chosen
by the Buffalo Bills in the 1988 NFL Draft…the rest is
history.
In 12 seasons with the Bills, he won the 1991 MVP
Award, 1992 Offensive Player Award, 4 consecutive AFC
championships and made 5 Pro Bowl appearances. But
it does not stop there. He was inducted into the Pro
Football Hall of Fame in 2007.
A fan of the Bills and Sabres, Thurman is an active
member of the Buffalo community. As the President of
3480 Group, a local construction and engineering firm,
he is grateful to be in a position to give back to the city
that has given so much to him.
Respect, loyalty and humility is the foundation that he
as his wife demonstrate in business , raising their four
children as well as in their service to the community.
