Accountabilities:
•SeniorPresentationScheduler
o Preparesschedule forthe assignedchannelsontime andwith100% accuracy:
o inaccordance withChannel guidelines
o accordingto the definedsteps/policesforthe channel
o meetsthe marketingguidelinestoachieve targetaudience
o ensurescreativityonpresentingschedule
o Informsall relevantpartiesof the change inthe plannedschedule,if any
o Last minute changesonpromotionsare beingexecutedcorrectly.
o Liaise withPlanning,BrandManagement,Mediaagency,Library,Transmissionand
Acquisition
o obtainingactual programmingandversiontobe used
o ensure promotionsandcontinuityare deliveredontime and checkingonthe
validityof the promo
o ensure commercialsandsponsorshipsare bookedintorightprogram
o ensure programsare ready 24 hoursbefore transmissionday
o Liaise withsegmentingdepartmenttoensure all programme filesare segmentedand
readyfor transmission.
o Liaise withacquisitionformissingmedia
o Ensure all program filesare availableandrightaspectratioare usedby
transmissionasperthe schedule
o Ensure all promotionsandcontinuityelementsare rightlyplacedinschedule
o Performsothertasksor dutiesasand whenrequired
Segmenting
-Segmentingall materials,”Movies,Series,Fillers,Talkshows,Songs,…ETC”
· ExportfilestoBroadcast Master forthe schedulertoworkonthe scheduleswiththe rightdurationof
the programs
· Deletionof MediaIDon BroadcastMaster, requestedbyEditors,Channel Co-ordinatorsorMediaAsset
Management(MAM)
· Making sure the material hasrightcontentand duration
· Monitoringthe logsheetsagainstthe material files
· Monitoringthe material qualitycontrol
· Monitoringthe editsinthe material according toeach channelseditingrules
· Communicate withthe differentdept“MAM,Ingest,TC”
· Monitorthe junior’sSchedulesinordertoensure the schedule quality
· Trainingnewschedulersandsegmentorsonthe systemandworkflow andformat
· Checkand compare As-runfileswiththe existingscheduleondailybasis
