Supervisor functions:
- Link to the labour and welfare organization
- Link to the leaders of both organizations
- Organizer/participant of the steering group
- Spokesperson for work-related services in the organizations
- Responsible for quality improvement for IPS services (performance-
based management)
- Co-responsible for implementing IPS and operating the service
- Supervisor of the Job Specialists
- Co-responsible for recruiting new Job Specialists

1. is responsible for no more than 10 employment specialists.
2. conducts weekly supervision
3. communicates with mental health team leaders to ensure that services
are integrated
4. accompanies employment specialists, who are new or having difficulty
with job development in the field
5. reviews current client outcomes with employment specialists and sets
goals to improve program performance at least quarterly.
