2. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Signaling Application Engineer develops practical and innovative ways to
identify and meet goals. In this role we will utilize our experience or expertise to
solve problems, be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, and have the
ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
· Serve as the technical expert in area of core responsibility
·Responsible for applying signal engineering principles for freight, short line and
transit/Metro applications. Design of Bonding Plan, Scheme Plans, Cable Schematic,
Cable selection, Cable Core Plans, schematic Diagram and interconnections including
Scale Plan, Auto wiring, Disconnection box Layout ,Location case wiring. Design,
verification & validation of control table, panel diagram, circuit plans, interlocking
application logic / data, cable plans, track bonding plans, power calculations, rack
layouts, location case circuits and detail engineering drawings.
• SSI testing
 Interface circuit test with bell test(WESTRACE)equipment.
• Indoor Relay room installation (relay racks, CT racks, SSI rack etc.)
• Outdoor circuits testing with bell test.
• Installation of IPS
• Pre functional test of outdoor equipment before non interlocking.
• Point installation, wiring and testing.
• Simulation test for SAT
• Quality assurance.
