1:-Programme planning and implementation
A: planning and executing of all activities related to vein implementation in the designated district .in
close coordination with DIO/RCHO.
B: Support to work of cold chain Handler (CCH) at district store (DVS) and cols chain point in
improving timely stock entries and their online visibility, including temperature performance of cold
chain equipment.

BLOCK MOBILIZATION COORDINATOR (B.M.C.) (SM-Net)
(2005 – 2011 (6 years 11 months) Ghaziabad
•Supervise Community Mobilization Coordinators in the Block my means of frequent field visits,
review meetings, appraisals of reports and review of performance.
•Mapping communication gaps/issues at Block and develop Block specific plan with focus on inter
personal communication, social mobilization, local IEC and advocacy
•Deploy CMCs in resistant vulnerable / underserved communities as per programme requirements
•Superintend Block underserved coordinators to mobilize support from religious leaders
•Superintend, team to get support from, traditional healers, private practitioners and other informal
leaders
•Data analysis for planning, ensure timely monthly reporting to Ghaziabad (District office) from the
districts
•Organize regular review meetings Block l mobilization team
•Represent Block mobilization team in Block planning meetings for SIA’s & RI
•Coordinate partners like Health Department, NPSP(WHO), Rotary local NGO’s & institutions.
•Ensure to get support from other line departments such as ICDS, PRI, education (basic &
secondary), Municipal Department, NSS, NCC, District Supply Department, District Minority Welfare
Department etc.
•Coordinate Block teams for liaison and advocacy with religious institutions, corporate groups,
voluntary bodies to focus on behaviour change of underserved communities for acceptance of OPV &
RI.
